Description

Jurassic Dodge is an arcade bullet hell game where players live the last moments of Roger’s life, the last dinosaur on Earth, trying to avoid as much meteors as possible until it comes the extinction. Players need to tap one or the other side of the screen to move Roger right or left, trying to dodge meteors falling from the sky. Sometimes, meteors hitting the ground could drop items that could help Roger powering up in his survival.

History

Jurassic Dodge has been developed by Just Goblin Things during a game jam at the Apple Developer Academy of Unina Federico II (Naples, Italy). It has been published on iOS App Store on May 18, 2022 as free-to-play game.

Features

Move Roger right and left by tapping the sides of the smartphone screen;
Score points by dodging as much meteors as you can, before losing 3 hearts! Try and re-try again to beat your high-score;
Roger runs faster with time, while more and more meteors fall from the sky;
Some meteors could drop useful Power-Up;
Mango power-up can be eaten to speed up Roger for a limited time. Roger is also allergic to mango, so he turns red;
Armor power-up can be dressed to protect Roger from 1 meteor hit, then it breaks;
Mix armor and mango power-ups to transform Roger into a running bulky red dinosaur;
Collect hearts power-up to resist longer to meteor hits;
Pro player move: long press the opposite side of the screen to let Roger stand still, just to have some milliseconds to think of your next dodges.
